GET TO KNOW ME

Hi! I am a licensed professional counselor and graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. I also hold a Master degree in School Counseling. My pursuit of a counseling degree began after 9 years of teaching elementary students. That experience helped me come to terms with my passion for students to succeed in every aspect of their lives. 

I believe that clients possess ability to choose how to resolve their own problems and can make positive life decisions.

My role as counselor is to assist clients in the process of managing and overcoming mental and emotional issues.  I use evidence-based counseling intervention like cognitive behavior therapy and solution-focused therapy to help my clients take control of their thoughts, empowering them to take control of their recovery.
